Those of you who give Spaceballs the hands down win (and I admit it is dumb and funny) have probably never seen Thumb Wars. Go rent it and then come back and tell me what you think. It is, hands (and thumbs) down, the dumbest funny movie ever.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is my FAVORITE movie! It was totally hilarious. Wutzamattawichya?! I can't find it out here. Still got it? MAIL IT TO ME!

Dumbest movies that made me actually speak out loud to the television:

Titanic (no! you're gonna smudge that nice clean window you cheap piece of trash! no, we do not throw items that could be sold and feed a small nation into the ocean on a whim you moron, stop that, jump in there and get it back, there are people starving and going without clean water....)

City of Angels (hm, let me give up life with God so I can see what pain feels like and blood tastes like. Hey, now HERE's a great idea, let me ride this bicycle down this road, going the wrong way, with my eyes closed!)

Both involved incredibly stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, people!

How about "Manos: The Hands of Fate"?

Horrible movie. The only way I know about it is because it was on MST3K.

I didn't know anyone had ever heard of that movie. Hands down the worst movie, EVER. It was so bad that I had forgotten it had ever existed.

Worse than Battlefield Earth and the Creeping Terror?

"Battlefield Earth" is a cinematic masterpiece compared to "Manos". Scary right? It's a low (very) budget hooror movie that is worse than the countless student films I've had to sit through. If you look it up on IMDB it is quoted as "makes your eyes and ears bleed". It is so bad that I would not even use it as a torture device.

How about the Batman movie from 1965? "Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb!" And dehydrating all the Security Council members into colored powder, each in one test tube.

But I wonder about the upcoming Rocky VI, even though the progressive biblical illustrations probably ended with Rocky III.

I am not sure how much worse Rocky VI could be than Rocky V.

However, the real question to answer when tryign to decide the dumbest movie ever is: Jaws 3 or Jaws 4? On the one hand you have all these people who don;t know what to do when menaced by a great white shark, after all, they're marine biologists at Sea World, and on the other hand you have someone haunted by the thought of sharks so she fleas to...and island.

Yes, those were some pretty dumb/horrible movies, but still nothing beats Manos. Case in point the scene where the snake stock footage was day, but the actual scene was supposed to be in the pitch black of night, (and that is just one example).

I dusted my VHS tape off yesterday and watched Manos on MST3K, which is the only way you would ever want to see it. It's one of my favorite MST shows, btw.

In the trivia section of IMDB about Manos, there is a line about the crew becoming so disgruntled during the making of the movie that they started calling it "Mangos: Cans of Fruit".

YES! MANOS! I thought I was the only one ever that had heard of this film. I actually saw it once outside of MST3K... and so when they lampooned it, I laughed harder!

Torgo: I am Torgo, I take care of the place while the Master is away. There is nothing to fear, madam. The Master likes you. Nothing will happen to you. He likes you.
Margaret: Likes me? I thought you said he was dead.
Torgo: Dead? No, madam. Not dead the way you know it. He is with us always. Not dead the way you know it. He is with us always.

And my favorite line from the movie:

"The woman is all we want! The others must die! They ALL must die! We do not even want the woman! "

My favorite lines from "Manos" on MST3K.

When the Master points at the woman late in the movie,

    Tom Servo: Pull my finger!

During the driving scenes at the beginning when they play the soft jazz,

Joel: A little Manos bringing us up to the top of the hour.

When the police "investigate" the gunfire by taking a couple of steps away from their car and shining a flashlight (not turned on btw) in the general direction of the gunshots:

Crow (as if one cop was talking to the other): Maybe we didn't even hear the shots. Did you ever think of that?

    OH MY GOODNESS!!
    That was absolutely HILARIOUS!

I remember that well. Remember how there were people in the movie wearing robes that had "hands" on them? Then when they left the theatre, someone (I think it was Joel) was wearing a robe that had a "foot" on it? I couldn't stop laughing.

I have had a rough week, and I REALLY needed that!!

    Regards,
    BiR

Night of the Lepis, hey I liked that movie. But I love old B movies, I think their great, even if they are bad.
    Ok, we also liked 10.5.

Ok, dumbest movie I ever saw, and we didn't watch all of it, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092086/

    All, right confession time.
With nothing on tv one night and my husband flipping for 30 minutes, I desperately went into Tony's room to search his collection for something we hadn't seen, and pulled this off the shelf
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0117768/ , we made it about 10 minutes, and it went back on the shelf.

"The Man Who Fell to Earth," starring David Bowie.

Some movies are so bad they are good; this one was just bad.

    Punch Drunk Love--Adam Sandler

There is a scene in this movie where the camera focuses upon a corner where to walls intersect. Off camera you can hear a conversation going on....but you just stare at the corner for around 1-2 minutes...and it has nothing to do with anything.
