On Friday, the Obama administration filed a brief urging the Supreme Court to overturn the Defense of Marriage Act.

I couldn't be more proud to have a president who stands up for equality and is willing to fight for the right of all people to marry, no matter who they love.

As you know the Edmunds Tucker Act of 1887 made polygamy illegal in the USA. However, this act does not seem have been enforced at all against Muslims in this country. And of course polygamy is still widespread among Mormons. How could the court logically overturn DOMA and not overturn Edmunds Tucker?
