CBS has announced that elderly Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren has announced that she is forming an exploratory committee to run for President.

"Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren took a formal step toward a potential 2020 presidential campaign Monday morning, announcing in an email to supporters and video message on social media that she is forming an exploratory committee to test the viability of a bid for the White House.

"The Federal Election Commission posted her statement of organization later in the day. The Massachusetts Democrat expanded on her plans later in the day. She plans to begin traveling to the early-voting primary and caucus states soon. The exploratory committee will enable her to raise money to pay for that travel and to hire staff for this effort."

Just yesterday I spent 2, maybe 3, hours looking up something in the local paper from 1972. When I do something like that, I always get distracted by other items, especially the kind of things no longer put into a small town paper. But of course there items about the McGovern campaign for president and a swing through Texas in September in which he insulted the state for its conservative values, took jabs at former Governor Connelly (still a Democrat then), and said he is going to transform Texas and most other states to where in a decade they won't be recognized. These are the sort of things that cost him any chance at winning. Would Warren not do this, too? Would any democrat they nominate?

Nixon beat McGovern in Texas something like 66%/33%.

Guess who managed the McGovern campaign in Texas?

A young woman named Hillary Rodham.

Isn't it "cultural appropriation" for a city born and raised black woman to be wearing a cowboy hat? She's as bad as Warren!

Worse.

And they left out Spartacus and Kamala Harris, the MS 13 supporter.

Interesting that she stated that her mom got a minimum wage job at Sears - which saved their family from
financial ruin after her dad lost his job.

Back to Liz, I’m gonna say that “I’m an Indian who likes to drink beer” might not be a winning campaign.
