"The presumptive Republican nominee said he believes same-sex couples have the right to legal agreements for insurance and other purposes, but opposes gay marriage. “I just believe in the unique status of marriage between man and a woman,” McCain told DeGeneres."

The Arizona senator said that she had given an “eloquent” defense of her position, but "we just have a disagreement. And I, along with many, many others, wish you every happiness."
Degeneres joked: "So, you'll walk me down the aisle? Is that what you're saying?"
McCain’s one word response: "Touché."

Of course he won't....
but he is still wimpy over the issue...
Why in the world is McCain gracing the degenerate's show anyway?

Who in the world is a Christian to vote for?

AUUUGGGGGHHHH!

I am so disgusted with the candidates this yr...

1. It was my impression that Ellen was joking, she was not being serious in her request.

2. It was my impression that McCain's reply was in the same tone as Ellen's question.

3. McCain is a presidential candidate, not a preacher or evangelist. He went on Ellen's show to court voters (ie...her viewers).

4. Ellen has a large number of viewers from all walks of life. Her audience is just as valuable to a presidential candidate as Jay Leno's or David Letterman's.

5. I thought McCain did an ok job.

6. I will probably be voting for McCain in the fall. I already voted for him in the primary. While people like Barr are interesting, they are not yet on the main stage. When they are, then I will consider them.

Is this standard the same for Obama?

I realize she was Joking.. but McCain is going to need the Evangelical vote, and this along with his refusing Hagee's endorsement is not the way to get the evangelicals on his side...

He is banking on the Evangelicals voting for him as a vote against Obama, but this is one evangelical that will refuse to vote for both!
