Donald Trump Jr. on Tuesday released emails he exchanged with an acquaintance who helped set up a Trump Tower meeting last year with a Russian lawyer who promised to provide damaging information about Hillary Clinton.

The emails, which were released on Twitter, show that Trump Jr. was told that the information came from the Russian government. He was also informed by his acquaintance, a music publicist named Rob Goldstone, that the Russian government supported the Trump campaign.

Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD), the ranking member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, has concluded that the newly released emails between Donald Trump Jr. and publicist Rob Goldstone indicating the former’s enthusiasm to meet with Russian officials during the 2016 presidential campaign, is evidence of collusion. The New York Times first broke the controversial story, revealing that Trump Jr. met with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya during his dad’s campaign to supposedly get opposition research on Hillary Clinton.

OH, at last, at long, long LAST!!

What we are hearing from all over the progressive left marxist media - the talking heads are aflame and commentators doing cartwheels.

Tim Kaine "TREASON!!"

Kaine: Trump Jr. may have committed treason - CNNPolitics.com

Tim please define Rush to Judgment.

I can't believe the unspeakable joy gushing forth even from a commentator on Fox News (although he is busting a gut trying to hold it in).

Let's see what comes of it, if Trump Jr has committed a breach then he must answer for it.

Good grief.

The only proven COLLUSION:

Democrats spread false Russian information on Trump, campaign aides

Democrats intentionally used disinformation from Russia to attack Trump, campaign aides

While the liberal news media hunts for evidence of Trump-Russia collusion, the public record shows that Democrats have willfully used Moscow disinformation to influence the presidential election against Donald Trump and attack his administration.

The disinformation came in the form of a Russian-fed dossier written by former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele. It contains a series of unverified criminal charges against Mr. Trump’s campaign aides, such as coordinating Moscow’s hacking of Democratic Party computers.

Some Democrats have widely circulated the discredited information.

And nothing can come of it even if it were true about the so-called collusion of Trump Jr. because he is NOT part of the administration.

The standard for the office is at an all time low if this is how you feel. The sad thing is that I know I'll be disappointed in how Republicans react to this.

Of course. Not to mention the fact he received no information and it' wouldn't have been illegal if he had.

At least it wasn't illegal for democrats to collude with the Russians. I assume the law applies to both parties.

" If anyone should be investigated in Washington, it ought to be Adam Schiff, Eric Swalwell, Mark Warner and their staffers.”

That is a reference to Rep. Adam B. Schiff of California, the top Democrat on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence; Sen. Mark R. Warner, Virginia Democrat and vice chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence; and Rep. Eric Swalwell, a California, Democrat on the House intelligence panel."

Not to mention Harry Reid.

All of them used disinformation provided by the Russians to try to discredit Trump during the election.

Manafort and Kushner were part of the campaign and were forwarded the emails. I wonder what their legal obligations would have been to report what appeared to be a foreign government actor trying to influence an election even if there was no actual information shared in the meeting as alleged by the parties involved.

When did Donald Trump Jr. join the Trump adminstration?

How do the number of press conferences between the Trump administration and Obama admin compare?
