Didn't you say in the thread about Tim Scott and voting that you don't vote?
I don't think Biden will ultimately run. But yes, Trump may be the only person Biden could beat.
The sheeple on both sides will dig in and not be swayed. But the fight will be for those in-between.
The DNC would do best to defeat Trump by any means and then choose a more moderate Democrat.
True. The DNC loved him (even encouraged him to enter NYC politics at one time). But he isn't a leftist anymore by platform. And he's too old to rebrand himself now.

I did post that. I do not vote.
But I did vote. Even when I voted for Trump I was wrestling with the conviction to abstain (not because of Trump but a religious conviction).

Maybe by "platform" but if he wasn't running for president, would he still be the same old Trump and is he still that way personally?
I think his personality would be the same. It served him very well in business. It really served him well as President...until it didn't.
People often forget his good policies, and many times because Trump would harp on shutting us down during COVID and giving us three vaccines....over and over again. It started sounding like a broke record, even after we stopped caring about COVID.
I watched his last debate and couldn't help but think that he sounded like a bitter old man. I thought he'd bring up his judicial reform. He didn't. I thought he'd bring up his inner-city programs. He didn't. I thought he'd bring up being the first to extend funding minority colleges beyond his term. He didn't. He talked about shutting down flights because of Covid and giving us vaccines.
You are absolutely right that the nation needs somebody better than Trump or Biden. I'm not sure the nation deserves somebody better. But you'd think we could do better than the GOP or DNC.

Yep. That is one area where Biden seems better. He doesn't appear to have the awareness to be bitter.
