Grasshopper: "Clouds many times represent God's presence, not a weather forecast."

Agreed. Clouds are not a weather forecast.

Literal interperations of Christ coming in clouds is this:

    Rev 19:14 (KJV1611):
And the armies which were in heauen followed him vpon
white horses, clothed in fine linnen, white and cleane.

I beleive these to be the 100s of millions of church age
born-again Christian elect saints that were put in heaven
at the pretribulation rapture. Such a crowd of white particles
will look like a huge cloud from 1,000s of miles away.
Look out Antichrist - retibution cometh!

I fail to see "insult", but know it probably WAS very sarcastic of Ed. There HAVE been wierd minoritiy eschatologies all over the BB this past year.

Having watched on the side for awhile before posting, I would say that that is an understatement.

However, that Ed's post was directed more specifically to the two posts above his was quite obvious. It is one thing to disagree with the content, substance, or origins of ones doctrinal beliefs, but labeling anyones beliefs as "weird" is unworthy of Christian behavior.

Are we not supposed to be the antonyms of "insult" or "sarcastic?"

    Contrasted Words: admire, esteem, respect
    Antonyms: honor
