England to ban pointy knives.

The actual headline is:

Pointed Kitchen Knives Should Be Illegal, Says Church of England

Thus, to say "England to ban pointy knives." is false at this point in time.

In 2009, England almost banned glass drinkware, to stop the harm glass can do in the wrong hands. "5,500 people are attacked with glasses and bottles every year in England and Wales."

Maybe, but it was still a far more legitimate use of ‘click bait’ tactics than the left’s lies. :Wink

Does this mean the Queen is for it?

What does a knife being "pointy" have to do with anything? It is already illegal to stab, slice, or hack someone with a knife or machete. Good grief, these people have lost it completely.
If they would bother to listen to the Master, they would know these actions are not caused by utensils but emanate from the heart.

Most people would wale if they were attacked by jagged glass.

It's only a SUGGESTION. Cricket bats have more range than kitchen knives, & have been used in more than one assault. And non-pointed machetes seemtabee the knife of choice in many knife attax. (Machetes are legal almost everywhere, as are ball bats & cricket bats in both Britain & the US .)
