    Steveo,

That's why you should use a projection system. That way you put the verses you are reading on the screan, and they'd have to be blind not to follow along.

Oh, wait, we're Baptists...They'll still gripe about it...

    In Christ,

I thought it was: "Thou shalt not omit adultery"?

Easy mistake....One must go back to the original root of the word:
    "Omit"
From the Latin root word "Jalapeno".
"to diligently seek and avoid certain green peppers".............. ;)

    Dear Brothers,

We humans are frail creatures ever dependent upon the tender mercies of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Having said that I would like to draw attention to the careless nature in which the dear saint Moses smashed the original tablets of stone that God had given him.

To me, this best represents a valuable lesson for we the believers of today. We must be diligent with the word of God so as not to destroy it.

I know of a preacher for whom it was "Thou shalt not admit adultery".

Great post, I enjoyed reading it. And it just reaffirmed for me why I am not KJVO. Thanks.

I've thought about it, but our budget hasn't allowed us to get a projector yet.
Also, I wonder if the people will stop bringing their bibles if we give them the verses on screen. I know the word is powerful either way but I would like them to get to know their own bible.

Glory2God: Does not the verse say purified seven times??? Wouldn't that make the very purpose of the list, for lack of a better word, superflous??? The verse says God purified his word seven times, who am I or anybody else to tell God how to do his business.

G2G...Please see the "Psalms 12:6-7" thread & feel free to comment..

"Faith cometh by HEARING and HEARING by the Word of God".

Why? Because the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life are tempted mostly through the eyes.

This is why "gospel" rock is such a subtle deception of the flesh. Satan will use all of our senses to slowing turn us from the Truth.

If we do not worship God in Spirit and in Truth, all of our carnal offerings are as "filthy rags".

Satan is still a "roaring lion" going about tempting, deceiving and devouring as many as he can--he still has teeth, and he looks like a "sheep".

    Selah,

    Bro. James
