Normal, classic dispensationalism. Deep six the other dispensational viewpoints (progressive, for example) which serve only to muddy the waters.

Poll didn't include Pan Millennialist; you know, for those think it will just "all pan out" one way or another.

Enlighten me...

What is the difference between the 'Historic' Premill and the 'Dispy' Premill. I always thought Dispy Premill WAS the 'Historic' position.

Guess that shows that I don't hang out in this forum much, huh?

Dispensationalism was invented by the "leaders" of the Plymouth Brethren and found its way to the states where it became the new orthodoxy. However those who were historically premillennialists such as Justin Martyr held that the Church was the fulfilment of Israel and was not a separate thing.

Error! Dispensationalism was not "invented" by the Plymouth Brethren. But this is not the forum for that discussion. :)

The difference between historical premill and dispy premill are: Most of historical premills were posttrib, believe God only have one people throughout all ages. Dispy premills are pretrib, distiction of Israel and Church of God's program.

Historical premill is more older doctrine than dispy premill.

Because, the doctrine - 'dispensationalism', itself was not yet exist teaching till late 19th Century.

100% of pretribs are always dispy premills.

Myself used to be pretrib/premill before. Now, I am postrib/amill.

Because probably, Matthew 25:31-46 is the clearest passage talk on eschatology. Matt. 25:31-46 teaches amill, posttribulational, and general judgment day. Matt. 25:31-46 proved us there is only ONE future judgment day follow at the coming of the Lord. And also, it is very, very clear teaching of posttribulational. This passage doesn't say that Christ shall come again - twice. Matthew 25:31-46 gives pretribulationism more problems. Because, Christ taught only one future coming, one judgement day. And also, this passage say NOTHING of 'a thousand years'.

That why, I rather follow Christ's saying than what men saying according Colossians 2:8.

In Christ
Rev. 22:20 -Amen!
