He's the worst "journalist" ever. Period.

But conservatives who celebrate this are shooting themselves in the foot. By supporting a corporation taking disciplinary actions against somebody's out-of-work speech is supporting corporate oversight of speech codes. Sure, you can't face any legal ramifications for questioning somebody's patriotism, but you CAN lose your job. It's something only a modern-day-liberal could love.

I thought he was pretty good when he was on years ago, before he went off on far-left political ranting. But since, he hasn't been able to keep his political opinions out of covering sports, and what he said here merits the suspension.

That is a good comparison. Both had lots of people tuned into a show where they were featured, and both were let go before anybody saw any ratings decline.

I'll never forgive Penn State for turning Keith Olberman of all people into a sympathetic figure. I mean that takes a Herculean effort. Probably one of the most tone deaf institutions I've ever seen. I still have an Army buddy that doesn't see what Paterno and the administration did wrong.

In April, John Krakauer is going to release a book he wrote about the sexual assaults at the University of Montana, and the subsequent cover-up. It's going to be called "Missoula".

We're expecting a storm of bad things, man.

My own alma matter here in Virginia came out poorly during a nation wide audit that looked into sexual assault reporting. I think there is most definitely an issue with this kind of stuff throughout the country.

We had a half inch of snow once, and they shut the base down. This was '82, I think. If the commies wanted us, that would have been a great time to attack. At the time, I was dating a girl who went to ODU, and they won the NCAA women's volleyball tourney that year. I took some leave in May and hitchhiked to Knoxville for the World's Fair.

Good times.
