Eternal Sanctification !

All of God's Elect were sanctified by God the Father in the Covenant of Grace 2 Tim 1:9, that is set apart from the rest of the world to be His peculiar people in the world Jude 1:1

1Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:

1 Pet 2:9

9But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

The root meaning of the word sanctify is to set apart a person or thing for God, for His Holy Purpose or Use !

This Sanctification by the Father took place before the foundation of the world when He chose us in Christ ! Paul alludes to that here Eph 1:3-4


3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

4According as he[The Father] hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

That Choosing was a sanctification,a setting apart !

It doesnt mean nothing when you deny the preexistence of Christ and scripture clearly states that all things, the world or ages were created by Jesus Christ Eph 3:9

9And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

The creation of the world was before Christ resurrection in time ! You did not know that ? Paul is speaking of an activity of Jesus Christ before the world began or the earth was created for Him to die on..

Here is your basic problem! You pervert the nature of God by your doctrine. You teach polytheism by your eternal spirit children found in semnial union with God the Son - that is polytheism and thus a direct rejection of the Triune nature of God.

Second, you pervert the nature of Jesus Christ. He did not pre-exist creation as "Jesus" THE MAN (Jn. 1:14) but only as pre-incarnate "Word" (Jn. 1:1).

Paul's reference to "Jesus Christ" in Ephesians is according to the PRESENT CONDITION of the Son of God at the time of writing not at the point of creation. Paul does not mean that the Son of God existed in a HUMAN NATURE or as the post-incarnate Jesus of Nazereth before the world began.

However, back to our original issue. The Nature of God the Son before Creation is that of a SPIRIT Being and it is IMPOSSIBLE for such a SPIRIT Being to have HUMAN "seed" seminally within that SPIRIT nature - IMPOSSIBLE unless - you believe in POLYTHEISM. If a SPIRIT nature can have actual seminal "seed" contained within the SPIRIT nature then they are as much "God" as the SPIRIT God they originate from within.

You have a real problem between the relationship of Eternity and time as well as between purpose and application as well as between provision and application.

1. The Bible pinpoints when the preincarnate Word "became" flesh - Jn. 1:14 and it was not prior to creation (Jn. 1:1-3).

2. The Bible includes "called" and "glorified" equally and inseparably with "justified" in the eternal purpose of God in Christ and you attempt to place "justified" in eternity and "called" and "glorified" in time when ALL are in the Eternal purpose of God EQUALLY before the world began.

You are rejecting that Christ existed as the Mediator of Men before His Incarnation. 1 Tim 2:5

If you are suggesting that The Man Christ Jesus was not Adam's Mediator, please prove it by scripture..If He was not, then Paul is lying in 1 Tim 2:5 Because Adam is the beginning of Men

I am not discussing when He became Flesh, I know when that occured, but His Existence before He became Flesh and Blood..

The term "flesh" in this context refers to the human nature not merely to ONE ASPECT of the human nature - the material aspect.

In this context his previous condition is defined as "the Word" and "God" not as man or with the nature of man! - Jn. 1:1-3 It is "the Word that BECAME flesh" as it does not say "Jesus BECAME flesh"! Furthermore, "the Word" is defined in John 1:1 as ETERNAL GOD ("the Word was God") but your concept of the prexistent nature that "became flesh" was created by God and not eternal! John flatly contradicts your supposition that it was something previous created by God that "became" flesh as He says it is the Word as GOD that "became" flesh.

Sanctified by God the Father. The word sanctified here is the greek word Hagiazo:

to render or acknowledge, or to be venerable or hallow
to separate from profane things and dedicate to God
consecrate things to God
dedicate people to God

to purify
to cleanse externally
to purify by expiation: free from the guilt of sin
to purify internally by renewing of the soul

The word is also in the perfect Tense which means:

ACTION COMPLETED at a SPECIFIC POINT of TIME in PAST (●) with results CONTINUING into the PRESENT (▬►). In certain contexts the results are PERMANENT.

These had been set apart and acknowledged for an Holy Use and Purpose by the Father. This sanctification took place before the foundation of the World Eph 1:3-4

It took place before they believed or were born just as with Jeremiah before he was born was sanctified for an Holy Purpose and use Jer 1:5

5Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Now I believe all sanctification by God is premised solely upon the blood of Christ, to include Jeremiah's Jer 1:5. All for whom Christ died or gave Himself an Offering in behalf of, by that Offering, hath sanctified them forever Heb 10:10-14.

Question ? How could they have been sanctified before they are born or before they believed ? By God's Purpose as was Jeremiah Jer 1:5. In light of God's Purpose for him, Jeremiah had to still be born a sinner, dead in trespasses and sins, a child of wrath by nature even as others. He had to be born a unbeliever, an enemy of God in his mind by wicked works, nevertheless, before he was born, God had already sanctified him unto His Holy Purpose, so that means his conversion to God was inevitable in order to fulfill his God given purpose. So it is with all for whom Christ died. For Christ's blood, in the purpose of God was shed before the foundation of the world Rev 13:8; 1 Pet 1:20, so in God's Mind all whom Christ would die for in the time state, were sanctified by that offering, before time began, before they were born Jer 1:5,m and before they believed Jn 10:16;17:20.

Back to the sanctification of God the father, it refers to His Electing grace, choosing a people for Himself and Entrusting them to His Son, that He would be their Surety and Representative and preserver in the Everlasting Covenant of Grace, hence they were sanctified for the Eternal purpose of being vessels of mercy, afore prepared unto Glory !
