Those are both good books, but I don't know whether your average unsaved teenager would read them. In fact, I'm betting they would not.

I think the original poster was looking for a book that was particularly well suited for worldly unsaved teenagers of today-- a book they would actually be willing to read.

I give it out and they read it quite often.

One of the first books I read as a Christian was John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress but be sure to give him a modern English version.

It would be an excellent choice for a non-Christian and would introduce him to Christ and living a God-pleasing life.

Another book I enjoyed at that time was C. S. Lewis' The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Although simplistic, he might enjoy it. You would probably have to talk with him about the parallels with Jesus' life to give him a full appreciation of story.

"The Radical Cross" by A.W.Tozer and "The Lie: Evolution" by Ken Ham of Answers in Genesis.....and of course I recommend a King James Bible, an 1828 edition of Noah Webster's Dictionary and a Strongs Exhaustive Corcordance.

I thought of another one. I once gave it to an older friend of mine that needs Christ but it could be helpful to a younger person too.

It's a bit controversial but if you tell that to the teen it may make it more appealing.

What does a teen want - to know they are important and have a purpose!

I've used Mere Christianity with young college students and they loved it. Young people are more familiar with philosophy, particularly naturalism, than any generation before them. Mere Christianity and The Reason For God are particularly good with today's adolescents.
