I searched the web for proof that this happened, and can't find it anywhere. This is one more example of FAKE NEWS and how it gets started! Beware of this and don't fall for it!

You are correct sir, however, polls taken, would disagree with your stance, in that when it comes to what Americans think they are when questioned as to their religion or beliefs, 77% still hold to the idea that America is a Christian nation! Even though our forefathers didn't identify this nation as being Christian, it shure used Scripture and Christian ideals when writing the Constituion and setting up the nation and how it would operate! (http://www.forerunner.com/forerunner/x0192_america_-_a_christia.html)

My mom taught me a important lesson years ago....that thinking you know something (ie your own perception of any situation) doesn't necessarily mean you actually know it.
