I can't remember where I saw it, but I seem to recall a recent court decision stating that linking is not a copyright violation. Wish I could remember where it was.

Uh, are you sure you posted the right link? I sure didn't see any hatred. In fact, what I saw there was much milder than what some of you say *directly* to Joshua and others on this board.

And no Diane, a link to content is not the same as reproducing content.

I'm enjoying the soap opera though! It sure beats T.V.

Diane. Ma'am, I must disagree. Linking to a site is not and never has been "reproduction or retransmission of the contents" of this site.

For the third time, I apologize for my hand in starting that thread over there.

On the other hand, I do not think the ridicule in that thread is anywhere near the level of vituperation I often observe here (and here it can be in both directions). Kelly and Joshua and I (and Russell and Colorado, while we're dropping names) may be in bad taste in some of our comments (de gustibus... and chacun à son... and all that) and for that I apologize and now I have a wedding to prepare for so I bid you au revoir.
