Thanks for the references. I'm especially eager to find audio and video of Benny Hinn (and TBN ministries in general) making false prophecies or teaching false doctrines. These are where Bible-believing folk can be convinced of the truth

I think some of the sites mentioned sell videos with quotes from Mr Hinn et al. I have seen some sites with RealVideo files of the same quotes, I am not sure if those clips are featured on sites above though.

I think ther comparison was the type of criticism aimed at both men.

I will tell you that to make fun of the man's hair is nasty, personal and completely inappropriate.

Further, it is one thing to speak out against the man's truthfulness, teachings and practices, that is necessary. But to drag the conversation down to the slime... well, I just did not see Jesus doing that. Perhaps, those that do so, need to do a self-examination. Feel free to ask for my assistance.

After reading this, I feel a need to go take a shower.

I can just see it now, he'd run over to the prophets of Baal and swish 'em all down to the floor and then God wouldn't have had to deal with them. He would parade them around on religious puke (regurgitate, for those of you who are high brow) TV and tell every body there's a rivival going on. Then by the way he would ask every little widow from Dan to Beersheba to send their last twenty sheckles in so's he could pay to put feed (gas) in his little bity camel limo.

BTW are you a Baptist? I noticed on your profile it says Christian. The Catholic Church and the Mormon church says that they are christian but they won't say they're Baptist (to which I am very thankful)

Those kids weren't makin' fun of Elisha's hair--they were mockin' the God of Elisha--The emphasis was on "Going Up!!" Look at the text again--the kids were saying to Elisha---"Go up, Go up, O Bald one!" They doubted the trip that Elijah had just taken---and they wanted to see it again--so they could doubt again! Sorta like the Scribes and Pharasees mocking Jesus---"Come down! Come down off the cross--and we'll believe!" No they wouldn't 'uv!!

As far as Benny is concerned---weak!! I mean--if he can do all it is he says he can do---what will be the excuse he gives when the doctor tells him---"You need CatScan!!" "Three months at the most, Brother Benny! I'm really sorry!" Do those jokers really think they will live forever in the flesh they have now? Do they think they can go through life--without ever, never even getting so much as a cold or the flu!! How close do you guys think Benny would like to venture--say, to Saddam's supply of Nerve Gas? Can he put his snout down in the barrel and get a good whiff??

Amongst other quotes.

I surely do not want to be put in the position of defending Rev. Hinn's teachings or practices, but to personally ridicule a man is beneath all of you as human beings, without even going to the Christian aspect.

One who must resort to personal attacks such at these indicate that they are attacking from a weak position. It seems to me that there is plenty of substance from which one can attack his beliefs, teachings and practices.

I would hope that more will choose the high road.

Wow praise God so many people are sceptical of Benny Hinn. Oh I just can NOT stand the mans way of tossing about false doctrine and frankly just being an idiot! I heard on The Bible Answer Man, Hank, that him and another man were laughing and telling jokes while they were suposedly speaking in tongues, and all aother sorts of things. I have a friend who does not doubt him very much and that SCARES ME!!!!

Benny Hinn, lets see:

is a reproach on the Church of God. His doctine is contemptable in that it victimizes and blind-sides weak and immature sheep and then fleeces them. He slanders the Holy Ghost of God by his antics and his knavery in the pulpit is Demon generated doctrinal malignity that will be a firebrand before a Holy God. Mockery of an actor is always in order.
He preaches "another Jesus".
