I have to agree that cultural marxism is a term that stops conversations because of the gulags of worldwide communism as well as the disreputable life of Marx.
The SBC talks about their stain of racism, and one's first instinct is to get out of that stained denomination into a forgiven denomination. Baucham calls this a sort of legalism that signs one up for perpetual work. He says it is a sort of Gnosticism.
The cultural marxists also charge that the police are oppressors like the Chinese in Tibet. I think that this is a grandiose description of the police. It is distinctly not a job done by the rich but a low-paying government job done by the down and out. The police act to protect lives and property.
Maybe Americans do want a French Revolution wherein the mob dictates who lives and who dies through a domestic rein of terror. Such a bloodbath would enrich the left as it did in the Russian Revolution of 100 years ago. But does anyone believe that an American bloodbath led by the Democrats would improve the lives of anyone except the survivors of the American terror?
