Nobody is saved before they hear the Gospel.

@Brightfame52 Saying you have to be saved before you can hear and believe the gospel of salvation is like saying you have to vote before you can register to vote.
Romans 10:9,10.
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
NOT “Thou must first be saved, and then thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus.”

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

@Silverhair You nailed it. If you have to be saved before you can hear and believe the gospel, what gets a person saved? It’s like saying you must have already repented before you can repent.
@Brightfame52 You promote an anti-evangelism, turning salvation upside down. The Bible clearly states that people need to hear and believe the gospel to get saved. You think something else saves, other than hearing and believing the gospel.

A person is first elected, regenerated, hears the Gospel, then gets saved. You can't claim that someone is saved prior to these events occurring; otherwise, they wouldn't even be necessary.

24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
Jesus is teaching us here that hearing and believing are evidential of having everlasting life experimentally , by New Birth, for one cannot spiritually hear and believe the Word. We know this by Jn 8:47
47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
Jn 18:37
37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
So understand the point, hearing and believing are evidence of possessing experimentally Everlasting Life by New Birth of the Spirit! 6

The purpose of the hearing of the Gospel is to break through the depravity of man with the truth of Jesus Christ, enabling him to believe and be saved, or reject it.

There used to be, in the '70's, a commercial with a guy running barefoot through a corn field yelling,"Ma, I only had one". She says "One what?" He says "Cavities". Then from off to the side Pa says "Musta been the Mailpouch. Only chewin tobacca that ain't soaked in sweets". That always cracked me up.
But I never chewed. When I lived out in the country almost everyone else did, even the kids. But at our church we had one creed: We don't smoke and we don't chew. And we don't go out with girls that do.
It was a lot easier to remember than the LBCF.

That's not biblical BF. You have salvation before they even hear the truth.
How could someone trust in God when they do not even know who He is?
You have to be honest with yourself and see a need for a Savior.
And even then many will reject Christ by putting it off.
My Dad was 75 when he was saved. He said he always believed the Gospel from a child, but he could not accept Christ knowing he would be a hypocrite at his work around that crowd.
His was a flawed reason, but it was his reason in rejecting Christ all those years.
