Be careful with Faiths role in Salvation !

Eph 2:8-9

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Yes Faith has a prominent role in Salvation, but just not as an condition, but as an evidential blessing that accompanies Salvation, The writer of Hebrews writes of things that accompany Salvation Heb 6:9

But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany[adjoining/attached, parts of] salvation, though we thus speak.

Faith is Part of the totality of the Salvation God saves us with, so it comes also as the Gift of God.

Now that is why Faith in the realm of Salvation is said to be " not of ourselves" it is the Gift of God, NOT of WORKS lest any man should boast, since no part of Salvation is of ourselves, then Faith, which comes with it, is not of ourselves. Now if we believe and teach that Faith is of ourselves, having it by nature, then we must by default to Salvation by works, something we did do of ourselves, which Eph 2:8-9 denies ! So Faith in the role of Salvation is either of ourselves making it a work, or its not of ourselves making it a Gift, worked in us by the power of the holy Spirit at our New Birth/Regeneration, when He saves us in Christ's Name and Salvation Titus 3:5

5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

So you see, If Faith/belief in the role of Salvation is of ourselves as many teach, then like it or not, that makes it Salvation by ones works and gives the occasion to boast, which boasting is evil James 4:16

16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. 17

The Faith of Gods Elect !

All men dont have Faith, but its restricted to Gods Elect. 2 Thess 3:2

2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

This is not speaking of the natural mans faith in natural things that pertain naturally to this life, that faith has absolutely nothing to do with God and or the Things of God, the Truth/Truths of God, or Spiritual Things. The Faith that all men dont have is that Faith which is a fruit and gift of Gods Spirit Gal 5:22

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

given in New Birth or when one is born of the Spirit opposed to being born only of the flesh Jn 3:6-8

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

When we have Spirit produced Faith, its the Faith of Gods Elect Titus 1:1

Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;

This Faith acknowledges the Truth of God in Gospel Obedience. One has to be of Gods Elect in order to receive Faith, or Election leads to Faith, for instance, Peter writes to Gods Elect this 1 Pet 1:2

2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Obedience here is synonymous to Faith, because Faith in Spiritual matters involves Obedience, its a trait of the Seed of Abraham, the Father of this Faith Heb 11:8

By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

Believing the Gospel is also called obedience of Faith Rom 1:5

By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

Rom 16:26

But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

This Obedience / Faith is the result of the Sanctifying Work of the Spirit from New Birth.

Again, that Election results in Faith is seen in 2 Thess 2:13

13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

Belief of the Truth here, which is Faith, is the same as obedience in 1 Pet 1:2

2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Now all men dont have this Faith/obedience, its given to Gods Elect in order for them to obey the Truth.

Faith is a Saviours Gift !

Christ gives those He died for Faith as an evidence that He is their Saviour. In Fact, His death for them entitles and allots them Faith 2 Pet 1:1

Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

In other words, those He is a Saviour unto will obtain a precious Faith from Him, through/in the Righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.

All for whom He died are by that made Righteous Rom 5:19, which Righteousness entitles them to the Gift of Faith, being made Righteous constitutes Christ as ones Saviour, for Christ cant be Our Saviour if He did not make us Righteous/Just, and the Promise of scripture is that the Just/Righteous shall live by Faith Rom 1:17.

The Imputed Righteousness we receive from Christ being made sin for us 2 Cor 5:21, has along with it the allotment of Faith 2 Pet 1:1

Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 18

Faith is the result of Election !

All whom God has chosen in Christ before the foundation Eph 1:4, have been chosen to Salvation in time which consists in Two things, #1 Sanctification of the Spirit and #2 belief of the Truth/Faith 2 Thess 2:13

13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

Belief of the Truth here is Faith, its one of the rare times when the word belief is the greek word noun pistis which is translated in the NT Faith (239x).

This Salvation/Sanctification was the end of Christ in dying Eph 5:25-26

25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

This is what Christ meant here Jn 17:17-19

17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

All whom had been elected, shall come to the belief of the Truth, or Christ's death failed its Eternal Purpose in God ! 18

What does the Spirit of prophecy say about faith and others spiritual conditions of the Church in the end of the time? Yeah, what the spirit of prophecy revealed ? ->By the way, "A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver" - Proverbs 25:11. ->The Spirit of prophecy says:
Luke 18:8:-> Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? ->Yes, like apples of gold on a silver platter, so is a word spoken in due season. -> Therefore, the word or message or comment for this perilous times, according to the Spirit of prophecy, is of alert or warning, as Matthew 25:6-12:

6 And at midnight->(at the turn from the sixth to the 7th Day, the Lord's Day, or from the 6th to the seventh millennium), there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet Him.

7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

8 And the foolish said unto the wise(DANIEL 12:3, TAKE A LOOK), Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

9 But the wise(DANIEL 12:10, TAKE A LOOK) answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready(THE WISE) went in with Him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

Speaking of the spiritual environment in this current time of His Church, that is His own body now here, our Lord JESUS said:->Luke 18:8:-> Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? -> This question indicates strong doubt about the manifestation or personal existence of faith in these end times, especially in light of the spiritual destruction within churches in these end times,as JESUS said:-> Matthew 24:9-14 -> (combined with 1 Timothy 4:1-2 and 2 Timothy 3:1-5, and mainly Revelation chapters 2 and 3, among many other biblical references). God forbid.

Yes, like apples of gold on a silver platter, so is a word spoken in due season. The question is: ->Luke 18:8:-> Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Hebrews 1:1-3, reveal us that:->1 GOD, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

2 Hath in these last days(last two GODs'Days or 2000 years)spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds;

Based in the Word of GOD, the source of the Truth, on GOD's six Days of creation and one Day of rest (a total of seven days) plus the Scriptures that teach that one Day is with the Lord as a thousand years (Psalm 90:4; 2Pet.3:8; Heb. 4:4) so MANKIND, yeah, MANKIND, would go through six GOD Days of 1,000 years each (a total of 6000 years) plus a Millennium of 1,000 years rest (now a total of 7000 years). Actually, Genesis is a Plan of GOD to restitution or restoration of all things-Acts 3:v.17 to 26-, according to the "modus vivendi" there were before in the garden of Eden.

The seventh and last period begins now, even now, in this turn from the 6th to the 7th and last Day, the Lord's Day, or seventh and last millennium.
Thus, now, even now, from now on, the kingdoms OF THIS WORLD are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever. Revelation 11:15-18, combined with Luke 20:35-36, and Revelation 5:10, Matthew 24:3-25 combined with Daniel 12:1-3 and 1Thessalonians 4:15-18, take a look, among others biblical references, TAKE A LOOK.

Revelation 22:11-17:-
>I highlight verses 11-13->11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

May our Lord GOD bless us and keep us and give us His protection
Amen

Christ is responsible to bring us to Faith !

Jn 10:15-16

15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

His Sheep are those He laid down His Life for, and He says of them " I must bring" !

So based upon this necessity, they SHALL hear His Voice, and follow Him Jn 10:27

27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Notice again Vs 16, He says He MUST Bring ! That word Must is the greek word dei which means:

I.it is necessary, there is need of, it behooves, is right and proper

A.necessity lying in the nature of the case

B.necessity brought on by circumstances or by the conduct of others toward us.

C.necessity in reference to what is required to attain some end

D.a necessity of law and command, of duty, equity

E.necessity established by the counsel and decree of God, especially by that purpose of his which relates to the salvation of men by the intervention of Christ and which is disclosed in the Old Testament prophecies

It is Christ's duty, requirement unto His Father to Bring all the Sheep He died for unto Faith, which is what Bring means.

The word bring ago means:

I.to lead, take with one

A.to lead by laying hold of, and this way to bring to the point of destination: of an animal

Its what He does from Jn 10:3

To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

They hear His voice and He leads them out, which word lead is two greek words exagō the words ek which means:

I.out of, from, by, away from

And the word ago which again means:

I.to lead, take with one

A.to lead by laying hold of, and this way to bring to the point of destination: of an animal

So Christ is primarily responsible for leading those He died for into Faith, into hearing His Voice and following Him !

If one He died for does not come to believe on Him and follow Him, its His fault, He did not handle His responsibility with God !

So those of you who say Christ died for some who never come to Faith in Him and following Him, You teach that Christ failed His responsibility which is ridiculous and blasphemous ! 18

Yes, ""You teach that Christ failed His responsibility which is ridiculous and blasphemous !""
The interpretation above described is a stumblingblock and good for nothing, except to deceive the readers here, in fact the verbiage of your post is mortal-> Genesis 2:17 combined with 3:22 and 3:1-5, in the way the Devil likes. Your verbiage above is good for nothing.

Here's what the Lord JESUS says about your post->Matthew 12:34-37:
34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the Day of Judgment.-> (the Lord's Day, the seventh and last Day, or seventh and last millennium, that is the current millennium).
35 ... An evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
37 By your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be CONDEMNED.

Matthew 15:18-19 & 8-9
18 Those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
19 For out of the heart proceed false witness, evil thoughts, blasphemies, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts:
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

John 5:26-27

26 For as the Father hath life in Himself; so hath He given to the Son to have life in Himself;
27 And hath given Him authority to execute Judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
