fantasy baseball

I have to go and study Yahoo's scoring system before giving you an answer. I have played in so many fantasy leagues and their scoring is all different. I am in some leagues where pitching is by far the most important category and others where pitching is just secondary.

Yahoo's ranking on the board seems pretty decent. I read recently though that it is better to stock up on offense early before you go for pitchers. Thats what I plan to try to do.

The league is full now, we won't have the draft till March as some have voiced interest in studying the players. Also it has been mentioned that I should make this a live draft vs. autodraft. Comments on this? What do you all think?

 

I have participated in both live and auto drafts. I enjoy the live drafts. And if you cannot be there your team is selected by your prerankings just as it is in the autodraft.

I would make one suggestion. If you go with a live draft, do not try and please everyone as far as the date and time of the draft. Set a date and time and go with it. Those who can be there, will be there, those who cannot will set their rankings to draft for them. I have about driven myself crazy in the past trying to find an acceptable time for everyone and it is just about impossible.

That is my thoughts, I will be happy with either. But if I had a vote I would go with a live draft.

 

The PhightinPhils are in. Maybe they'll do better than that other team with the similar name?

Well I gues I can change it to a live draft then, but again it will not take place until March.

 

Ok the draft has been changed to a live draft that will take place March 25th which is a Saturday at 9:00 PM.

I probably will just go with my pre-ranked players anyway.

 

Won't be there for the draft - that is 2.00 in the morning my time .

We had a family fantasy football league and one son who never even looked at his team just missed the play-offs . He was laughing at us when he was home for Christmas .
