In a segment this week discussing how the political Right is handling the results of the 2020 presidential election, CNN reporter Pamela Brown suggested that it was a “threat to democracy” that people were turning away from dominant social media platforms like Facebook and signing up to be on more pro-free speech platforms and sites.

Funny you mention this because just last night I posted this on my Facebook page with a link:

"Please come connect @ MeWe! It offers a better and fun social atmosphere for friends, less clutter, free speech -no ads, more posting features like bold, italic, and strikethrough on text, you can post voice messages with a click, share document files, upload pics and videos really fast, click on video chat, participate in group and private chat rooms and maybe most of all it is a fresh change from Facebook and their BS. Hope to see you there."

I might add that I found myself in Facebook jail about an hour later...

I don't get reported, I get censored with phony factcheckers usually after I make comments on their propaganda and then end up with a blank page that says, Something went wrong, come back later and try again.

I try not to post too much political content on my page but I do post on others like Trump's where lately I've had few that've gotten 100s of likes and with that 100s of replies of which I answer many and have also even received 2 Top Fan Badge notifications from Trump's page in the last few days.

I've never heard of the ability to block Facebook's fact checker on your posts.
