God is not the author of sin.
But God, for His own high purposes, did not choose to make us so many Stepford wives without ability to choose. He gave us free will, knowing that we would fall into sin by our own deliberate fault. But for that eventuality, He had already devised a plan to rescue a vast number of guilty humans by satisfying His own justice through the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, and drawing men and women to HImself by faith though the Holy Spirit, not counting their sins against them.
If that's what you think, carry on. This is not, praise God, the Cal vs Arm forum. I was replying to the O.P. I suggest you do too.As you said God draws man to Himself, He does not cause them to either believe or not believe.
So man uses his God given free will to make the choice to either trust in or reject God.

8 | Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, was this grace given, to preach unto the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; |
9 | and to make all men see what is the dispensation of the mystery which for ages hath been hid in God who created all things; |
10 | to the intent that now unto the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places might be made known through the church the manifold wisdom of God, |
11 | according to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: |
Yes!If creation was designed to glorify God, were humans purposefully designed with a fatal flaw in order to bring God the greatest glory?
Christensen's position is that God permits and even ordained evil because, within his sovereign plan, its defeat through Christ produces a greater glory than would have been possible if the evil never existed.
This is not a particularly new idea.
God did not describe His creation that way. I would not either.were humans purposefully designed with a fatal flaw
