Which is why you pray and ask God to be merciful and bless us. OT has many examples of men of faith praying for the LORD's mercy on the land of Israel. Jesus taught us men should pray often and not grow faint (weary of it).

I pray for revival and for this country every morning. I believe Trump to be a godsend.

Politics is no longer about standing for ones political views. It is also about being dishonest concerning other views and manipulating people to gain power in the form of political support.

I agree. The fact checkers were going off like crazy on both Vice President Biden and President Trump tonight. Both lied directly to the moderator multiple times. If I had a 20 for every lie, obfuscation, or verbal dodge by changing the subject each party's candidates made this election season, I'd be in Forbes coverage for some of the richest men on earth. The real losers are those that don't dig deep and do their own research.

I wouldn't look at a big Democratic win in a few weeks as the end of our nation. I see a big Democratic win as just more seesawing in this bipolar epoch we have been in since Bill Clinton became President. Republicans will likely hold the Senate, House, and Presidency all at once in 12 years tops the way things have been going.

I would look at a big Democrat win as firm chastisement by God to us as Christians. We must have got something wrong with our governance to humble us so much. IMO it would be God telling Christians to wake up and be righteous and wise with our governance, especially beyond our signature policy concern of abortion. Of course, we push hard on abortion and make it central to our platform, but our platform has to be righteous and wise on all the issues. Its like our battle against sin. You have to fight on all fronts, all the time.

I am including obfuscation or a verbal dodge by changing the subject as a lie. That may be harsh, but in our day to day lives we call that a lie. By that standard Vice President Pence, Vice President Biden, Senator Harris, and President Trump are pants on fire.
