Will you church be doing anything for Fathers day?

What about men who have no children

What about a father who lost a child (en) thru death

What about a divorced father who is prohibited from seeing his children.

What about a father who does not have a close relationship with his kids

What about......

What about just celebrating the Lord's Day without adding anything else to it? I know, I know. I am your friendly neighborhood curmudgeon.

Yes, we will be having our regular services -- Singing, Bible Study, Praying, Preaching. The only thing different is that we will have a visiting preacher on that day.

You know, if we DISCONTINUE any and all "celebrations" that have the possibility to hurt/offend "SOMEBODY", everything that is human may as well be discarded.
Too many of the left-leaning types can find something about anything to be offended about.

My "Toxic Masculinity" will unashamedly and unapologetically be on full display that day for those with gender identity issues to cringe about..

Yes we will be having our regular service, praising God through hymns and prayers. We have a guest speaker visiting to preach on the subject. Also, as a token of love, the youths of Christian Endeavour will be giving small gifts to the fathers and the entire church will bless the fathers through prayers.

But what about men who have no kids, or those dads who lost kids via death or divorce

A male person who has the Father's heart is a Christian father. Father's heart is manifested through Jesus Christ in its totality, Jn3:16. One may not have child, but if he has a compassionate heart and works for establishing God's Kingdom: we can, without hesitation, put him above earthly fathers.

Before I say you did not answer the question- have you ever lost a child thur death or divorce?

Was just talking to someone last week, he has taught in a Christian school - so yes he has a heart for the kids.
But he has no children of his own -( I believe it was her medical condition) and they did attempt to adopt - but that did not happen. - so now, Jeff does not attend Church on Christmas Sunday.

No Sir, we have not lost a child through death or divorce.
As far as the question of Jeff is concerned, I only have to refer to Jeremiah 29:11 where it says "For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope. "
