    "It's not a lamp. It's a major award"

When Flick gets stuck to the light pole cracks me up every time I see it.

    Christmas story hands down.

Scrooged with Bill Murray is one of the cleverest, humor-filled, but still an excellent version of that pathetic Dicken's story.

I know it's not a movie, but my vote is for "A Charlie Brown Christmas". Unfortunately in today's society, Linus would hear from the ACLU after reciting Luke 2 and mentioning Christ

My daughter has declared under no uncertain terms that it is not officially Christmas until "White Christmas" (the old one with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye) and "It's A Wonderful Life" have both been shown on television.

So those are 'traditional favorites' here.

Miracle on 34th Street the one with Natalie Wood and Maureen O'Harra. This would have to be my favorite of all that I list, If I had to pick only one.
A Christmas Story, I love the part were the mom gets the little brother to eat his dinner, and when the mom knocks over the "award" accidently, on purpose.
The Santa Clause "Try to understand this!" too funny. and
A Christmas Carol haven't seen this one yet this year...maybe I should try to find it on video or dvd.

I also loved watching A Charlie Brown Christmas and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer with my kids
