My favorite player now is Hines Ward.

That is, I like Hines if he signs next year with the Steelers and doesn't opt for free agency in 2006.

I heard an interview with Ward on a Boston sports radio station the week before the AFC championship game. I like the way he handled himself. He seemed like a classy guy

hey patsfan - i like vermeil in that he made a great offence, but this summer he really needs to bring some defence in. i mean, bringing in a new defesive coordinator isnt going to do it by itself. ill decide whether or not i like him after this summers transfers

I agree. I definitely credit Vermeil for the Rams past success. (I think Mike Martz is awful). You're right that the real test for Vermeil is fixing KC's defense. That seems like the key to advancing in the playoffs. They have some great players. I really like Priest Holmes.

Priest Holmes is awesome and i like him too, but his time is really limited. i think he might retire this summer. if he can. he suffers way to much injury. i like larry johnson as a backup too. id love to see priest make it back for at least one more year.
