FDA allows non-prescription sales of morning after pill

    Some studies have indicated that over 60% of fertilized ova are never implanted, and are unceremoniously expelled from the body during normal menses. Does that mean one should not ever have sex, since they could be creating "humans" that are killed?

    No, because God clearly created sexual relations for marriage. So if this happens as a result, that is out of one's control. Taking a pill that may do this, however, is not out of one's control. Two entirely different situations.

    The logic doesn't follow, Marcia. If it is bad to create zygotes for in-vitro, because it kills humans; why doesn't having sex that creates zygotes that are destroyed constitute a sin? I think you are getting into a sticky trap here. It is not beyond our control to choose either natural or lab fertilization. We choose both. I think the fact that over half of fertilized ova are destroyed all the time is strong evidence from God's creation that a fertilized cell is not yet a person. Especially, since I agree that sexual relations are an important part of a marriage.
