If you don't want to be raided, don't send out fake supenas.

Or you could just be attending a meeting, knowing nothing about a subpoena and get treated like public enemy #1.

Maybe in Russia, but surely not in America. We have a first amendment guaranteeing free speech and assembly, don't we?

Well, we used to.:tear:

First, I see people on this thread saying a warrant wasn't shown. Each of the news articles I've read references a warrant. Why do you think a warrant wasn't shown?

Second, this wasn't just a "meeting". If you want to believe these wackos and what they say, this was the monthly convening of their government. They weren't just talking about things, they were for all intents and purposes acting as their own government within the borders of our country.

Just let a group of Muslims get together, declare that they refuse to accept a particular state (or city or county) as a legal government, have them form their own government, and then have those same Muslims send out "official" government documents to people requiring them to show up to their "court".

Can any of you that have been so vocal on this thread honestly say that you wouldn't be up in arms about this group of Muslims and calling for the military to take them out?

Doesn't even need to go that far. People on this board go up in arms when Muslims desire follow their own religious laws (Sharia) within their community.

Heck, people on BB get upset when groups of people don't speak English amongst their own community.

First, did you see how I spelled subpoena, embarrassing.

Second, don't send out fake subpoenas, don't go to meetings with people who send out fake subpoenas, threaten rebellion and have declare themselves "independent" from all authority but their own. If you didn't know what kind of folks you were hanging out with, that's on you, because these folks are more than willing to tell you, even if you don't want to know.

Ok, I'm with you on the hyperbole of the masses, but have you read Sharia law ? If it was to be implemented anywhere here you better believe I'm going to sound off.

Obviously the worst of it should not be tolerated at all. But some of the benign stuff like call to prayer, abstinence from pork, foot washing, women covering their heads, fasting, etc. is harmless when practiced, yet it bugs people, apparently more than Texans that form their own government and send out subpoenas.

Because of eyewitness testimony. Under law, a warrant has to be presented and/or read upon request. It was not. It was left on a table in the meeting hall after the fact.

Much as I hate Islam, up to the point where they actually violate the law, they have the same rights as everybody else.

Conversely, why aren't the Obamunists in this thread who are supporting the police state and the violation of the Constitution also condemning the creation of a Sharia court in Irving, Texas?

Why the double standard.

No. It has always happened. It was just done to the minorities who had no power to fight back and had no national/international media dying to report it, and an internet on which to spread it. Now it's being done to everyone, even those that think they are the better race/political party.

Build a country on racism, political bullying, police violence, hate, and anger and you get what you deserve! Even if you are delusional enough to believe it's "Christian."

Ok. Thanx for clearing that up. I agree.

It's being done. They operate under sharia law...no subpoenas required. I haven't heard of one of those enclaves being raided yet.

Can you provide info where they have disregarded the Federal/State/Local law and also created their own documents for their "government" that they attempt to enforce?
