I wonder how many of the people of any race we see toting guns at demonstrations are convicted felons and barred from owning or carrying firearms??

I wonder if any of these guys, should they commit a crime (like harassment, vandalism, etc), are going to be charged with a "hate crime".

Right now, it appears that LEOs are reluctant to confront these goons.

Lol, what a joke....:

"..."Three people were injured in downtown Louisville when a member of an armed black militia group carrying semiautomatic weapons accidentally discharged a firearm as they marched to a demonstration.

"Despite earlier reports that the shots were fired as a result of an argument between the group and a far-right organization gathered nearby, it was later confirmed that a member of the Atlanta-based Not F*****g Around Coaltion had accidentally fired on other members as they assembled in Baxter Park...."

They are demanding the government give them the state of Texas to build their own country. Total loons, but dangerous.

This looks like a pic from the Stone Mountain show of force in GA. I saw video of it when it happened, a couple of weeks ago, while on the Glock forum. They really don’t get who we are. Doubt if they had a permit to take over the streets there either. They formed themselves into one easy target, amusing.

I dunno. I wonder about their ulterior motive, but I'm not it really matters any who is or isn't a felon. I suppose we could always start forcing released felons to wear a big yellow "F" on their shirt, if it bothers you enough.

It does. It wasn't long ago over 40,000 convicted felons attempted to buy firearms in one year. Many will be repeat offenders, especially with a gun in hand.

The "f" would work fine for me. Back to prison if caught in possession of a gun.:Thumbsup I think everyone of those people in the photo should be checked. If I was carrying a gun and wearing protective gear, as well as a mask , and a cop ask me to...I'd ID up in a hurry with my licences to carry. He'd know immediately I was felony free and FBI cleared.

As the say, if you can't do the time (and everything that comes with it), don't do the crime.

Well, your numbers are skewed. And so is your logic. There are more to crimes than you think. In Califormia Kidnapping is a felony, and can get you 8 years. However, embezzlement is also a felony, but only punishable up to 4 years. Time aside, which is worse? One is a violent crime and the other isn't. You truly would be surprised how many people you regularly interact with on a daily basis that have criminal records. But...does that make them evil?

What is a woman uses a gun in self-defense yet ends up in prison for felony gun possession because she had a prior conviction from 40 years ago, is she evil? What if under the same circumstances it's a man. Is he evil? What if instead it's a guy nailed for accidentally exporting protected wildlife to another state (Lacey Act, look it up)? Is he evil? Or perhaps the high school dropout that busts a cap into a cop after getting pulled over for not having a valid license plate? Of those three, which is the most serious? Does it matter? Should it matter?

They're all felonies. And no, it doesn't matter at all. If it should, rewrite the laws. Until then, it doesn't and shouldn't.

Just so you know. Evil was not a part of the conversation until you brought it up. As far as I'm concerned, it has no place here.

Yep. Sniper beats mob anyday. Death from afar.

I dont care. Convicted felon cant have a firearm unless their civil rights have been fully restored or they are pardoned.

So Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. 1 Chronicles 10:14 Saul was a fell on.

"...for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword." Matthew 26:52

That offending member was likely an infiltrator, a covert member of the FAC. :Wink

Sure, I can be even sillier, by copyrighting this as a “Not Not” joke. :Tongue
