Has anyone watched Fences (the film adaptation of August Wilson's play)? If so, what did you think of the film.

My wife and watched it over the weekend. I thought the acting outstanding, but I'm not really sure the play translated well to the screen (I'm not sure why...less intimate, perhaps).
