House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stirred up a hornet's nest by promoting the idea of spending of millions of dollars on birth control and abortion as part of the economic stimulus package.

"Contraception," argued Pelosi, "will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government." Her comments came on ABC's This Week when asked by host George Stephanopoulos how expanding "family-planning services" to the tune of millions of dollars will stimulate the economy. OneNewsNow sought reaction from Susan Fani, director of communications for the Catholic League.

"It's quite shocking, actually, that the Speaker of the House -- who claims to be Catholic -- would go on national television and claim that contraception would reduce the cost to the government," exclaims Fani. "It's just beyond words, really."

Pelosi has five children and six grandchildren. Catholic League president Bill Donohue finds her comments revealing. "We have reached a new low when high-ranking public office holders in the federal government cast children as the enemy," he offers in a press statement. "But at least it explains their enthusiasm for abortion-on-demand.

Actually, if all the babies that has been aborted would not have been aborted, We would have a massive workforce... paying into Social Security.

The problems with Social Security would not be there.. it would have enough coming in to offset what is going out.

Pelosi is an idiot. But what do you expect from people who are pro-choice. Anyone that supports murdering a baby is an idiot.

Next will come the Global Warming folk that say killing babies is good for the environment.. because Babies let off gas!

One day though, God is coming back, and all these murderous liberals will burn in the lake of fire.. and justice will be served!

But for right now, we need to pray for them that they will get saved.

The Christians who support Pelosi's efforts could use some prayer, as well. We were told to be fruitful & multiply. Not to worship the Earth.

It comes from not trusting scripture. You can be swayed by ideas that could only be inspired by Satan, if you do not believe what God has told us. It happened to Adam & Eve, first.

I pray the reign of Pelosi, Reid, Biden & Obama is a short one.

As I have said so often, if we would just accept His word as He said it, and not try to spiritualize, philosophize, allegorize, and parabalize the written word, most of the problems of "What does scripture say", and "How does it apply to this situation" would be a moot point!!!!:BangHead::BangHead:

HAS GOD REALLY SAID----??:BangHead::BangHead:

If she thinks fewer babies will help the economy... wait for our elderly to be next. If they aren't contributing to society, I guess they would be expendable as well?

Amen, Bro. Curtis,
Know the Word; Believe the Word; God is ever faithful and his word never fails. Anything that goes against it is a lie and will lead to destruction! Any leader who goes against the truth of God, is not fit to lead or serve!

I pray that God might turn the hearts of these leaders to accept his Word, his son, and do his will!

Elderly, mentally ill, poor, anyone needing or receiving government assistance, anyone not contributing to taxes and social security, anyone deemed not productive for the good of the nation.
Not to mention, selective abortions, poor, colors or nationalities, or religious groups. Forced abortions like in China. All with the support of the president, who already thinks babies aren't real persons, and they are a punishment.

Yep, I think we can see where this is going.

They are biting their noses off to spite their face. By the time this plan is well underway, these folks will be elderly and needing care. By then, they will have convinced everyone that the elderly, etc, aren't important and should die. Hmm. I wonder what will happen to Pelosi and Obama then. They very people they indoctrinated with this garbage just might kill them off.

This is a illustration I used recently:

An elderly German man who lived through the Holocaust tells the following story:

I always considered myself a Christian. I attended a church since I was a small boy. We had heard the stories of what was happening to the Jews; but like most people in America today, we tried to distance ourselves from the reality of what was really taking place. What could anyone do to stop it?
A railroad track ran behind our small church, and each Sunday morning we would hear the whistle from a distance and then the clacking of the wheels moving over the track. We became disturbed when one Sunday we heard cries coming from the train as it passed by. We grimly realized that the train was carrying Jews.
Week after week that train whistle would blow. We would dread to hear the sound of those old wheels because we knew that the Jews would begin to cry out to us as they passed our church. It was so terribly disturbing! We could do nothing to help these poor people, yet their screams tormented us. We knew exactly at what time that whistle would blow, and we decided the only way to keep from being so disturbed by the cries was to start singing our hymns. It some of the screams reached our ears, we'd just sing a little louder until we could hear them no more.
Years have passed, and no one talks about it much any more; but I still hear that train whistle in my sleep. I can still hear them crying out for help. God forgive all of us who called ourselves Christians, yet did nothing to intervene.
