Final Canonization

The Lord persevered his words unto all generations.

Psalms 12:6-7
6 The words of the LORD are pure words:
as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them
from this generation for ever.

When the Lord gave scripture to O.T. Jews, he gave it to them in their language.
When the Lord gave scripture to N.T. Christians, he gave it to them in the language of the day.
Then the Lord gave nations Holy Bibles in their language.
Finally, the Lord gave the entire world Holy Bibles in the universal language,
which was translated into languages throughout the world.

The KJV Holy Bible is the most translated bible of all time.

The KJV Holy Bible is the most translated book of all time.

Predestination, inspiration and providence continued
throughout canonization and publication of scripture.

While the entire line of scripture are records, the outstanding record of scripture
and the scripture of final authority is the published text and form
of the AV 1611 KJV Holy Bible first edition.

The KJV Holy Bible is the most published, distributed and read bible of all time.

The KJV Holy Bible is the most published, distributed and read book of all time.

It's placed between the O.T. and N.T. as non-canonical.

It is placed in the O.T. canon in other bibles.

Sadly, another KJVonly Cult post. In fundamental Christianity of today, this is the most schismatic and anti-Christ group of people I know.

We damn the Al Gore types for worshiping the creation, not the Creator. Then we allow KJVonly cult members to post who do the same - worshiping the Anglican Version (on a Baptist board??) and attacking the precious doctrine of Inspiration.

Thread moved and my disgust noted. :(

Thank you Dr. Bob for your policy of academic freedom.

While you disagree with my believe, you simply moved my thread to a new location.

How excellent !

I am not a KJV Only and I am not an Original Manuscripts Only .

I believe all scripture is given by inspiration of God .

There are two types of bibles, Holy Bibles and Corrupt bibles .

You cannot honestly state you have scripture if you believe

only the original manuscripts were given by inspiration of God.

There are no original manuscripts.

2 Corinthians 4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty,
not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully;
but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves
to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

You cannot honestly say "the bible" or "all bibles" are given by inspiration of God.

There are over 400 (Christian, Catholic, Cult) Hebrew, Greek, Syrian, Latin, German, English, etc.,

bibles which do not match in content, volume or doctrine.

You cannot honestly say "the N.T. Greek Text" or "all N.T. Greek Texts"

are given by inspiration of God.

There are over 24 reconstructed (Christian, Catholic, Cult) N.T. Greek Texts

which do not match in content, volume or doctrine.

Sure I can. Here goes. "I believe the original manuscripts were given by inspiration of God, and I honestly state that I have the Scriptures."

Are you now going to say I said this dishonestly and am thus a liar? I totally deny your ability to look in my heart and mind and say I am dishonest in my belief.

And now some question back at you.

Why does the KJV teach not to oppose idolatry? Ex. 22:28--"Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people."

Why does the KJV teach that God doesn't keep His promises? Num. 14:34--"After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise."

Why does the KJV teach that a heathen temple can be a church? Acts 19:37--"For ye have brought hither these men, which are neither robbers of churches nor yet blasphemers of your goddess."

I await your answer to these thorny issues.

Why does it call the Holy Spirit an it?

Why does it not clearly state Jesus is being called God in some passage?

And why did even the
translators se it as having flaws and imperfect, being built on foundation of prior versions, and that they looked forward to future versions improving on their own?

The only rule I have is: stay away from any text coming out of Alexandria.

You go by the "rule" of your little piggy.

Have you even heard of Athanasius?

You really need to stay clear of KJVO folks. Your information is terribly off-balance.
