We met through Eharmony. After communicating for a couple of weeks he decided he wanted to meet me, and he flew out to Colorado to meet me. I also flew to Arizona a couple of times to see him on his turf, and than when we got married I moved in with him in Arizona.

In the words of Disney... Its a small world after all... My wife Pam was born in Pueblo and grew up in Alamosa Colorado (which she tells me is sometimes the coldest spot in the nation, where it gets super cold)... I was born and raised in the Sunny city of San Diego and was there over 57 years (I got thin blood) me and snow do not get along... I have two brother who also grew up in San Diego, now live in Tucson with their wives, been there and it gets super hot... Pam and I now live in Northern California in Sacramento and it gets cold enough for me in the winter but right now its in triple digits.. Seems to me you would have trouble adjusting to the Arizona weather but with air conditioning and all... Probably no big deal... Just saying... Brother Glen:)

Yeah Arizona summers have been an ajustment for me. The first year we were down south between Pheonix and Tucson and I could not believe how bad it was. I didn't know you could get headachs from hot weather, but I did, if I stepped outside I would have a migraine in no time. And AC is only as nice as you can afford to use it. We have since moved up north near Flagstaff and that has made a world of difference. It still gets hot during the summer but not the crazy 120 degree hot (And the whole its a dry heat doesn't help because once the monsoon hits its not that dry) of Southern Arizona and we do see a bit of snow in the winter. After my husband is done with his Master and we get a bit more equity in our house we are planning on moving even farther north either Utah or Wyoming because the pay is better in those states and the weather would be much more what I'm used to. My husband is all about taking care of me. Although on the flip side my husband does not like cold weather. We were up in Colorado a few years ago for Christmas and it was -20 and he thought he was going to die. So apparently one of us will always have a problem with the weather :)

God brought mine to the feed store where I worked at the time. Farm girl. Now, 32 years, 3 kids and 5 grandkids later, we're feeding about 120 sheep(just sold 105), 3 cows, 2 horses, and a donkey.......

I go outside when it's 20f and windy, in a t-shirt.

After a long time of dating and sinful behavior, I was 35 years old and accepted the fact that maybe a wife and family just wasn't in the cards for me. I commenced seeking God as the main point in my life and then at 39 I met the woman I have been married to for the last 20 years. God works in mysterious ways indeed!

I am that age but divorced after having been married for a little over 3 years.

No advice here.

I just wanted to say that I love the succinctness of the thread title. No messin' around, right to the point.

Met my wife on a blind date, after several disaster blind dates, I was shy to try another one. But after years of praying for a wife we hit it off. 25 years married next year.

Or the women moves to you. That's what I did. I lived in Colorado, my now husband lived in Arizona so I move to Arizona when we got married. To me it just made sense that I should be the one to move.

and to think - if you had stayed in Colorado - you might have a met street preacher.....:Whistling

Same story here. A sequence of bad blind dates, I wasn't going to do that anymore but was talked into it. Will be 23 years here in November.

Well we both were on Eharmony at the same time so staying in Colorado would not have been required. But I'm happy with my wonderful husband in Arizona and... :Whistling

Two words; long johns. Especially if you're having to go in and out a lot.
He had them. The biggest problem came when were in the car going to Denver and it started snowing. Had to have the heater on full blast to keep the windows clear and there he was in all those layers. I felt so bad for him but he was a trooper.

Nothing to do with having found my wife - but when I was in Denver (Jan 1986) my car caught on fire
