Well unless you live in a cave somewhere and haven't heard the news the community of Paradise California, 87 miles from Sacramento where I live was completely destroyed... 31 lives were lost up to this time and multitudes are homeless... This wildfire came through so fast driven by high winds the residents could only grab a few belonging if any and flee... People were abandoning their cars and running for their lives as the traffic got so bad as there were only two ways out... My wife and I have friends up there and as far as we know communication and information is hard to come by so we've heard nothing so far... The smoke got so bad down here yesterday we could hardly breathe and my wife and I stayed indoors... If anyone wants to post pictures or videos of the fires destruction do... I'm to overwhelmed at this time and it strikes to close to home!... When you go to the Lord in prayer please pray for Paradise, California and all those devastated in the fires in California... God bless you all... Brother Glen:)

Yes, it is catastrophic, also I have many relatives and friends in California.
Some not too far from the fires.

And the blame game is on the front page, not the suffering of people affected.

I think I heard him (POTUS) say on a news blurb that he blames the fires on state mismanagement of the California forests.

I believe so, but he's not the only one.

And Gov. Moonbeam has blamed Trump.

Yes, the state of California has mismanaged its forests. It has listened for too long to the tree huggers. As for this fire, Friday we could smell smoke in our location south of San Francisco more the 150 miles away.

Maybe...just maybe now isn’t the time to say such things. If he wants to revisit the issue when the crisis has passed fine. Seems incredibly petty and unhelpful while towns are literally burning away.

Also doesn’t Cal only own a small piece of its forrest? I remember reading that. Anyways, it was an urban fire that started this according to the fire department.

Nah, this is a petty man having fun with the mean state that didn’t vote for him.

Well, I think Moonbeam started it:

The governor who's castigating the president on climate change

apologies in advance for the SeeBS llink, but there he blames it on Trump refusing to address global warming, because he's Moonbeam.

Really though, does everything have to be politicized these days, even fires? What is so bad about changing fire management techniques, this last one has killed over two dozen people by now.

Reform forest fire management

stepping into the let it burn camp

No we don’t have to politize this. Tell it to 45 and his Twitter feed.

Roof work and removal of deadwood around a house helps.

Update on the fire 42 confirmed dead and the fire 30% contained but more help is on the way. My daughter sent me this tonight... Hats off to Texas!... Brother Glen:)

As you lay your head down tonight, please say a prayer for our Texas firefighters joining the fight in California against the most destructive fire in California history. San Angelo is sending 4 of our own and our Tifmas truck. Texas is sending 200 firefighters and 55 firetrucks. Please keep our guys in your thoughts and prayers!

Sure. Like who would listen to him about it when it’s not a problem. Tamper your hate. It’s unbecoming & in fact incredibly petty & unhelpful. He has to force help on the ignorant, because they’re too blind to help themselves.

How much of the Camp Fire forest remain in federal ownership? Also, it's my understanding that the USDA Forest Service has had no fire suppression funding (prior to what they're supposed to get in the current Farm Bill), and so has diverted dollars from other items, thus gutting the forest management programs - which include funding in support of management of both state and private forests.
Typical - give the agency more to do, cut their funding, then blame them for any resultant problems.

CA Gov. Jerry Brown Vetoed Bipartisan Wildfire Management Bill in 2016

At the request of the City Council of Laguna Beach, Sen. John Moorlach (R-Costa Mesa), authored SB 1463 in 2016, a bipartisan bill which would have given local governments more say in fire-prevention efforts through the Public Utilities Commission proceeding making maps of fire hazard areas around utility lines.

California fires produced as much pollution in 2 days as all the state’s cars do in a year
Laguna Beach went through four fires sparked by utility lines in the last ten years, and has done as much in the way of prevention as they could afford. The bill would have allowed cities to work with utilities to underground utility lines, and work with the Public Utilities Commission to develop updated fire maps by requiring the PUC to take into consideration areas in which communities are at risk from the consequences of wildfire — not just those areas where certain environmental hazards are present.

Gov. Brown vetoed SB 1463, despite being passed by the Legislature, 75-0 in the Assembly and 39-0 in the Senate.

Thanks for that information... For an update on the cause, the story going around now is, a woman in Paradise reported sparks from power lines and reported the problem to the proper authorities to take care of the problem but before they took it seriously all hell broke loose... They believe now that her property was ground zero... More later!... Brother Glen:)

The government forces help on the ignorant because they are too blind to help themselves?

Wow, slippery slope there.

Yeah, I’ll retract that & say that Brown isn’t blind, & knows exactly what he was doing vetoing the bill to help with wildfires, even though it passed with 100% support from both parties. He can’t be that ignorant, can he? So why would he do that??? Let’s see......Cali relies on the federal emergency funding to actually keep them afloat, so you could say he is in favor of this devastion to his constituents, it keeps his coffers flowing. That’s not ignorant, it’s evil.

Couldn't help but think of all the disasters befalling the Jews, as God told them through His prophets to repent or else!

Could there be a parallel to Cali (state) and/or the USA (nation) ??

Just wondering!!!!
