I appreciate the opportunity to join in a site such as this and hope that I can gleen from the many sources available here. Glad to have you. I don't know how much you've looked at here already, but just be prepared for conflict. In fact, as I saw the title of your thread, "First Day," I immediately thought this would have something to do with Sunday/a sabbath argument. That's how you can get trained to think on here.
We do not argue here, we just have some extremely warm disagreements! :smilewinkgrin:

Hi there, and welcome...yes, Baptists are Baptists...they fuss and disagree because the Holy Spirit is the guide and men interpret His guidance differently, just like every Gospel written is not identical, even though all the facts are the same....ya know?

I've read a few of the discussion and have definitely see the "warm discussions"! A few seem to resemble "discussions" that my children have...different linguistic ability and talking points, but similar taunts.
Hopefully I will get to see some positive discussions before I become too disenchanted. So far I am greatly enjoying everything and already learning from this site.

Pastor, my home church here in Colorado has many Chappells as members, so you know where my doctrinal foundations are. :thumbs:

DL, you are wrong - it would be 7 opinions, unless it is discussing C vs A but the total number of opinions would depend on KJV vs non KJV except for....
