Wow, are you really this arrogant in person? You would be betting wrong. First of all the hip-hop culture is not all there is to the black community. Secondly being a Christian or a Baptist does not make a black male conservative. Politics and religion do not necessarily have to be intertwined. Why do you feel you know my husband so well as to make this generalization? Could it be that once again you are basing your opinion on stereotypes, not truth? I think so. Lastly, there are MANY, MANY black Americans who rely on God for their well being and not the government. The black culture in America is not predominantly hip-hop, nor are the majority of black Americans on welfare.

As for the church that we attend. We chose FBCO for several reasons. Mainly the service times fit our schedules very well, (i.e., it is big enough to have services and classes to fit a variety of people's schedules) , and it is relatively close to our home, not to mention that many of my son's friends go to FBCO. It is the best fit for our family right now. We have attended many churches, both "black" and "white". Some of the best and most inspiring serivces I have been to have been in "black" churches. BTW, why do you attend your church? Did the "whiteness" factor into your decision at all? You obviously, and incorrectly, think it factored into our decision, so I was wondering if it factored into your decision at all.

My comments do not reflect with wether or not I agree with you or disagree. Wether their is truth in what you say has nothing to do with the spirit of what was said.

I'm pretty conservative. Very right wing so to speak. But true or not there is only resentment in your comments. No one trusts that. Even if you are correct.

If you want to speak that way on view points that is one thing. If you want to speak to people directly and an entire race at that then you will need to approach it differently.

I can be pretty blunt on view points. But you cant attack people that way. May God and all people involved forgive me if I ever have.
