1) Jesus teaches Total Spiritual Inability is false doctrine, Luke 10:13
2) Scripture teaches election for salvation is through or by way of faith in the truth, thus a conditional election. 2 Thessalonians 2:13
3) Scripture teaches Christ died as a ransom for all, thus even those heading for swift destruction were "bought." 1 Timothy 2:6, 2 Peter 2:1
4) Scripture teaches those entering the kingdom can be prevented by false doctrine, thus the necessary grace is resistible, Matthew 23:13.

Thus the "T" (1), the "U" (2), the "L" (3) and the "I" (4) of the TULIP are obviously unbiblical.

Matthew 23:13 (NASB)
“But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you shut the kingdom of heaven in front of people; for you do not enter it yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.

Here are some of the so-called "explanations" of Matthew 23:13.

1) Entering the kingdom does not prove they were seeking God. :)
2) The people were not really entering. :)
3) They were delayed from entering, but sometime later they entered. :)

And here is the obvious truth:
1) Those entering the kingdom were seeking God.
2) Jesus indicates they were in the process of entering, probably referring to putting their faith in their understanding of the gospel.
3) We should believe what scripture says, not nullify it by inventing an outcome not found in scripture.
