Foley internet IM is only page prank

I see: the DEMOCRATS made him do it. Rush Limbaugh was advancing this thought Monday, in the second and third hour, as was Sean Hannity.

So, if someone from the GOP does something like this, then it was a left-wing conspiracy? Are you really so polarized that you believe this?

Any way I look at it, the man was as sick as a former democrat was . . . sin is sin.

 

Well, of course they have, but they've been fairly moderate about it considering the juiciness of the scandal. The Republicans have fallen all over themselves, dredging up decades-old incidents as though those would make this seem less bad.

Are you kidding? The Democrats have been inept for a long, long time, especially the liberals among them. The Republicans have nothing on them in that department. If they had any sense whatsoever, they'd make a gigantic stink over the auditless electronic voting machines - a genuinely important issue (Foley is just one sleazy guy who, apparently, the pages already took care of themselves).

 

Of course. The Democrats still seem to think they can ignore marketing schemes in political campaigns.

Heck, remember the "Banking Scandal" that brought down the last democratic congress? Know who the worst offenders were? The worst one was the moron from my district, Dick Armey. Guess who's money was allowing Armey to kite checks? Ted Kennedy. And yet, the GOP made it into an "evil democrat" issue.

Republicans may be a lot of things, but they know how to win elections. The problem seems to be that they've forgotten how to govern competently and honestly.
