Hello, I found this board nearly a year ago. At that time I read through some posts and made 3 posts. I had since left the board and have thought about it here and there. Today I have returned and have enjoyed reading through some of the posts. I have since bookmarked the site so that I don't lose coming here again.

In the last couple of years our relationship with God has grown tremendously in my household. We found a church that we truly love about 2.5 years ago. We rarely ever miss and when we do it's not because we just don't want to go. It is now because of work or being out of town. Find a good church home is an amazing experience. The Lord has done work in our home. The more we pray and the more we want to and strive to be closer to Him the closer he lets us and the more he blesses us.

I have personally struggle to be a daily Bible reader. I love reading things in the Bible but find it difficult to make myself sit and read daily. I have been told that if I will begin reading it intentionally I will want to read more and more. Another way God works in life. I really like places like here and other places that talk religion when I see scriptures posted and I can then go from there and read more. I want to use this board as a tool for me to help with my Bible reading and general knowledge of the Bible in general.

I hope I have posted something like this in the correct place and I look forward to interacting and asking questions as we go.

With that, I want to leave with a small prayer that I try and pray daily:

Lord, thank you for yesterday and giving me today. Please help me be a better person today than I was yesterday. I want to strive to do things more like you. In Jesus name, Amen.

Outstanding. Using this board as a tool 'to stir up your pure mind' and 'to search and see if these things be so' is the absolute best reason I can think of to participate here. "Iron sharpens iron" [Prov 27:17].

Guess I've not posted enough to start a thread outside of new member intros.

I am desperate need of prayer right now. Need the prayer for my marriage. Been on the rocks since last Aug-Sept time frame.

I don't want to get into details. We are still in church and have talked to our pastors individually. I will think things are going good for a few weeks and then right back to no good. I don't know where to turn and praying doesn't seem to help. I pray almost daily about this. I've almost stopped praying for things to get better and started praying for God's will to be done.

I don't want to lose my marriage but it's been mostly miserable in recent months.

Please pray for us!
