Honestly think we need not only voter ID, we need voter competency test of some kind.
How can you let people vote who have no idea what a senator, house rep, or POTUS does for the country.

Don’t worry, a ton of the ‘covid relief’ money is going to the failed leftist’s towns & states. That will make it appear that they are doing a great job governing until they blow through that money as well. Interestingly though, no money is going to help the homeless??!!

I’ve seen kids that were being passed along, even though they had not gained the knowledge. It is tragic. However, I’ve never seen them in these percentages. This is a disaster.

Tutoring would likely help. And there are alternatives to academics and college, e.g., what we used to call vo-tech education. There were many in my high school ready to make good money with skills they gained there.

The church could help with some of this. But parents, especially fathers, need to be involved. The culture must be supportive, or at least not antagonistic.

Yes, but there is another side to this. Parents are failing their children miserably.

One has to wonder how a parent could be so ignorant of their child’s status. The mother claimed the school never notified her, as if she’s never heard of a report card, or else thinks that a miniscule GPA is acceptable for graduation.

I attended a school board meeting where parents were protesting because their children had not been prepared for college. These parents failed to realize that a high school diploma does not spell college bound. Perhaps the parents had never been to college themselves, but their ignorance was inexcusable.

Unfortunately, the mentality of the people is being represented in government. The Progressive Left may want a mindless populace, but the populace is cooperating all too well.
