Foreign envoys decry Trump-Putin summit as 'devastating' and 'pathetic'

“A German official said the press conference and Trump's deference to Putin was "frightening," and yet another example of why Germans -- for the first time since 1948 -- see the need for a "US strategy," which treats Washington as a potential adversary.

"The thinking now is Europe needs to close ranks now to address US threats," the official said.”

The United States people are not a potential threat to the West. Trump is. Hopefully, we can turn this mess around and Lavrov will have to eventually eat his words that the meeting was magnificent for Russia.

Will the left handed progressives never learn!?

They have now enabled possibly millions of more votes for President Trump with the fabricated phony outrage and hysterics concerning the loyalty of President Trump and his meeting with President Putin.

I (and others) have told them why. I will tell them again.

1) The general public no longer depends on the marxist press (The Ministry of Truth) for believable news and when they do, they then go to the social media for information before they make a decision.

2) The progressives know and are experts on how to publicly insult us which looses more independents who jump intothe bitter irredeemable basket of deplorables clinging to their bibles and guns.

By calling President Trump a traitor or having committed treason you have called 60 million plus Americans traitors which goes over like the proverbial lead balloon.

3) President Trump has a charisma about him with which people intuitively connect and identify the general public does not see that charisma in ANY of your talking heads especially when they say the same thing in a collective robotic verbeta. IOW you have not presented a charismatic like FDR or JFK of your own with which we can ID. Certainly not "screechy" Hillary. IMO this is your biggest failure. I was once a JFK Democrat.

Prediction - Big Time Loss in 2018/2020.

Yes, there is definitely a cult of personality around Trump which has led to the hashtag #Cult45.
And it is growing "in leaps and bounds" Read my post again - each point.

You see you have insulted over 60 million of the common folk by association with the stigmata of a "cult".

Not how to win friends and influence people (to quote a cliche).

At least you admit you are in Trump’s cult. The first step out of a cult is to admit you are in one.

Yes I am, thank you for the compliment. I have no intent of a "step out".

How effective do you think it is by calling a Mormon a "cultist"?

Does that influence him/her positively or negatively in his/her loyalty?

Just another form of identity politics. Liberals have to label everyone.

I see no point in trying to win back the votes of older white people who switched from voting for Obama in 2012 to voting for Trump in 2016. I don't think those folks are politically redeemable. The pot of political gold for Democrats in 2018 and 2020 is found in increasing the turnout of suburban women and black women.

I just had a glimpse of Fox.

Liberal with a toothy superior aristocratic grin waxing eloquent concerning Trump's "treason".

Without the foggiest notion of how much of a puppet he appears as his strings are so clearly visible.
The emperors new clothes?

Oh well.

Right keep believing that without finding a good presidential candidate.

Absolutely, the Democrats need to nominate a good presidential candidate. Preferably, someone in their 50s. I really don't prefer to vote for someone older than me.
