Forget the KJB. Is there any version that you believe is perfect?

Asked and answered, see post # 49.

Lets see:
1) If I believe my version of the Bible (NASB) is trustworthy and reliable, but not perfect, I am anti-Christian.

You said "if", and you said "reliable".

That wasn't the question and "if" is not an answer...as if you didn't know that.

Do you, yes or no?

Wow. Just wow. You just don't listen, or choose not to. Talk about putting words in people's mouths.

The OP's title is "FORGET THE KJB". And reads:

Thanks for proving that so blatantly. I'll be showing your reply as an exemplary proof.
The Bible NEVER states that any translation will be inspired. much less perfect!

Circular reasoning logic, as you "prove" the Kjv by believing that it is the only word of the Lord!

So basically, you did not read my post. Do you want a Bible that keeps the truth in His words or not? How do you address the John 16:13 truth of your Bible version as opposing what your Bible versions says bout Romans 8:26-27 or vise versa?

Forget about the KJV. Address the truth of John 16:13 in your Bible versions & prove it still aligns with Romans 8:26-27

Let me answer this with complete clarity. My NASB is trustworthy and reliable yet not a perfect copy of the inspired word of God.

You didn't answer the question in the OP.

You did not read my post either. Is the better question is not which version is the perfect Bible, ( proof I read your OP ) but rather which version is keeping the truth in His words? Would that qualify what you prefer as being a prefect Bible or not?

The discerning verses are John 16:13 in whatever Bible version you are using & compare it with Romans 8:26-27 in that same bible version you are using right now that is not KJV..

Now you answered.

So which Bible, that I could buy today, (and say, give to my Muslim friend), would be "a perfect copy of the inspired word of God"?

Question; do these 2 references align or not?

John 16:13 But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. NASB

Since the Holy Spirit will not speak on His own initiative, but He speaks by whatever He hears... then how can He even groan?

Romans 8:26 In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; NASB

Compare how the KJV keeps the truth of John 16:13 aligned with Romans 8:26 where not even His groanings can be uttered.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. KJV

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. KJV

Now you ask Jesus Christ as your Good Shepherd as to which Bible version loved Him to keep the truths in His words as aligned?

As keeping the truth in His words? The King James Version. They also translate the KJV in foreign languages, just as they do other modern bible versions; FYI but I recommend the KJV & I had showed you why, but oh well. On God to cause the increase.

Ok, long way of saying "I won't answer". Thanks.

So my better question about which Bible version is keeping the truth in His words does not apply to your question about which is the perfect Bible? I reckon we agree to disagree since you cannot prove my question is not at all in relation to your question.

Yep, still ducking the question.

I had given you scripture with my answer. Remember your signature? I am holding you to it as copied & pasted below.

The greatest COP-OUTS whenever cornered by scriptures are:
1) Hide behind your subjectively chosen Greek or Hebrew words (despite no Biblical warrant for doing so)
2) Subjectively reject the literality of the words of God, which is a polite way of denying them.

Nice try. Answer the question >

what version that I could buy today, do you, pray tell, believe to be 100% given by inspiration?

How interesting that only 2-3 souls were bold enough (that I say not "froward" enough) to clearly answer the question,

what version that I could buy today, do you, pray tell, believe to be 100% given by inspiration?

and even in those cases, sometimes after prodding, but NO ONE has dared simply answer "None.", even though that's what you almost all believe.

I wonder if that's the conscience being too uncomfortable to publicly state, in so many words:
"I don't believe any Bible is the inerrant word of God".

Clearly indeed it is, your hiccup is not the inspiration of the King James Bible, it's the inspiration of the Bible period.

Ah yes, quickly now, hasten back to the safety of the original autographs where your faith cannot be tested.
Quick! Before the intellectuals ridicule you for believing a Bible with mistakes! Ah, "original autographs", blissful retreat!

Are you violating 2 Timothy 2:23? Ask the Lord Jesus Christ what it is you are trying to teach or to prove;

2 Timothy 2:23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. 24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

What is your criteria for a Bible version to be 100 % given by inspiration?

Mine is keeping the truths in His words to not cause others to go astray by. So my answer is the King James Version.

So.. this is not a discussion but just being argumentative.

It is a question done to mock with no clear parameters. Like, Is God so powerful that He can create a rock that He cannot lift?

You need to check your attitude, brother because John 14:23-24 & John 15:20 has Jesus saying those things because discernment will be required in knowing which Bible version is keeping His words hence the truths in His words, but you want to do what? What is your answer? What is it you are trying to teach? No one can know the truth in His words? That God failed to give us His inspired words for us to follow Him by & abide in in His words to be His disciples?

You like to limit your question for the sake of being argumentative & you were proven wrong by the scriptures.

My faith is in the Lord Jesus Christ & He was & still is the One that had proven to me the King James version is the one to rely on for the meat of His words. If the truth is not your parameter for a perfect & / or 100 % inspired Bible which is the KJV, then I have to wonder how you expect to correct any one by scripture.

The KJV was kept by those who loved Him to keep His words & therefore what God wants us to have today. If that means 100 % inspired by God, then so be it because it is proving modern Bibles are not keeping the truths in His words.
