Some of y'all are literally consumed by what these candidates can do for the economics of this country but don't seem to care at all what effect supporting them will have on people's eternity.
I double-dog dare you to go out and witness tonight. Or tomorrow, seeing as I'm probably in a different time zone, and it's possibly past your bedtime. As soon as someone asks you if you're voting for Romney, ask them if it matters, and ask them why. Please come back and let us know how many people actually fulfill your scenario. The only reason you need to be beating your head side a brick wall is because of your comprehension problems. You don't get to witness to them if they think you're a hypocrite. If they don't think you're a hypocrite, they'll listen to you share the Gospel and make their salvation decision based upon the Gospel.
There's no confusion here, except for the people who initiate a point that makes no sense to begin with. (um, that would be you, in case you got confused as to who I was talking about)I know you like to confuse the point, but save it for someone who can't deal with your constant need to reframe the conversation in order to validate your points.
Hmm. I believe you just called me a hypocrite. You can't intelligently rebut what I've presented; you can't admit that everything you post supports what I've written; so you fall back on name calling.Zaac said:Quote:
As far as your last statement - who's to say they don't turn away from me and step in front of a bus, and therefore don't have any further chance to hear the gospel?
Be the same result as a hypocritical you attempting to share the Gospel with them.
And that's just about the dumbest judgment of other Christians I've ever heard.Yep, when you've got evil vs evil, the Christian must choose the lesser of the evils. That's just dumb. The only reason y'all even consider voting for this man that Christians have called a cult for decades, is because it's more important to some of you to win an election and unseat Obama than it is to stand on some sort of conviction about Christ.
Zaac's World, Part 1
Me: "Hello Sir, Could I interest you in a conversation about spiritual things? About Jesus and where you might go in the afterlife?"
Person: "I don't know.....did you vote for Romney?"
Me: "Yes, but only because I can't stand Obama."
Person: "You voted for a person that worships a false god, and you want to talk to me about Jesus? You're a hypocrite. Good-bye."
No offense intended, but that is one of the goofiest questions I've read on Baptist Board.
And the same applies for every other thread. So like I said, no one begged you to reply. If you don't like the content of the thread, you feel free to leave the same way you came in.:flower:
Sorry, you cannot shut this down at Page 10. Federal election law dictates you must give an equal ten pages to pro Obama posts. I am sure that OldRegular, Carpro, Zaac, Arbo, and Don will give you plenty of material. Do not be fooled, OR is a closet Obama supporter. I hear he carries a picture of him in his wallet.
Good stuff.
Such an unbelievably ridiculous thread. I'm glad it's on page 9.
