If you want a better idea of what a responsible dispensationalist believes, then you need to take the free Revelation course from Dallas. Not that I think the course will change your basic position. But, at least you won't be reacting to La Haye, Lindsey, and Company.

It should be. BBN's teachers are mostly dispensational, so would think Dallas Seminary is probably a "spiritual mentor" to many of them and general agreement.

(Among any 3 Dispensationalists you will find 4 opinions :) )

I just finished BBN 10500 Dispensational Theology and got a 100. I missed a question on the first test, but I guess the final exam was enough to cancel out those few lost points. The instructor Dr Renald Showers died last year. So sad. I really enjoyed this course.

I don't know enough about dispensations to understand what has people so fired up, but I understand enough to know that they are fired up. LOL.

I have had a class in Revelation from a Bible Institute that sends many students to DTS. Is there really a "responsible" dispensationalist? Perhaps there are dispensationalists who are less theatric, but the idea that there is a pre-trib rapture just isn't taught in the Bible so starting with that premise is hardly "responsible."
