I’ll be the first to say Donald Trump can be boorish, egotistical, and often appears to be a megalomaniac. But, just like the crazy uncle we all have, he’s still your crazy uncle. Now, I do find fault with Donald Trump for being rather insensitive, dismissive and seeming to forget this is not about him, but about a nation. Yep. But with that being said, all these letters and statements of non-support are cause for concern — what is the alternative?

On the Democrat side, have we seen any of them break ranks? As a matter of fact, Bernie Sanders fell in line so fast I’m surprised he didn’t hurt himself. The Democrats stand firmly behind the most despicable individual in modern time to run for president, a pathological liar who is undoubtedly corrupt to the core. I’d prefer to do what I can to push this bloke of ours across the finish line than have a Hillary Clinton be our president.

Honestly, we should all ask ourselves, is this indeed the best America can do? We have, in a little over 200 years, gone from George Washington to Donald J. Trump and Hillary Clinton.

We’ve evolved from “I cannot tell a lie” to “I cannot tell the truth.”

Its not that he (The Donald) is a boor......really, take a look at Mitt Romney......or that he is an egotist, I could live with that. Its his constant blathering without having a clue what the heck he is talking about.....heck that scares me! Its a clue to an unstable mind for goodness sake!!!

Both my mother & father taught me to speak up on issues that I'd spent time thinking about, thought through.....Mom would say, "Either you know something or you don't.....and when you don't then shut up." I thought it good advice.

Very well said Carpo. History tells us the Dems always fall in line with their candidate no matter who it is. I mean who liked Kerry or Gore, but yet they all stayed the course with them. We don't see anything like this in the GOP. This shows me the GOP cares since they won't just line-up as told like we see with the Dems. The DNC is truly cultish.
