Funny Colonoscopy Story

I have a friend who said the same thing until one day he discovered a not so funny alternative...

...cancer.

So far he has successfully fought the battle for the past 3 years....

and has gone through some terrible procedures,
He regrets his choice to delay what he knows he should have done.

I just didn't want to have to say I had TWO friends that regretted their decision.

I've been through three, and the only, ONLY thing I remember from the actual procedure was from the very first time. I remember glancing at a screen & saw this snaky looking object (have no idea if it was the stationary one or the mobile one) and I asked the Doc if that was "it"!

The nurse was apparently on hand cuz there was nothing more till I woke in recovery.

He obviously adjusted the la-la dose for the next two!?:tongue3::tongue3:

I had read this before and dreaded my first colonoscopy but being the good patient I am, I went ahead and scheduled it.

My opinion? No biggie. Seriously! I used the MoviPrep as in the article and there was nothing explosive, no seatbelt needed - I just had to go to the bathroom and I did. A lot but it wasn't uncomfortable or uncontrollable. I just stayed home and had my Kindle waiting for me in the bathroom. The procedure itself was really easy and I just rested the rest of the day. Honestly, it was a non issue.
