I took a seminary class from him in 1993 on apologetics. He's a top flight scholar on that, and maybe the leading scholar on the resurrection. He also likes the Shroud of Turin--believes it's real.

Personally, I do not believe the shroud of Turin to be Biblical.
John 20:6-7, . . . into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie, And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.

So I also do not believe said shroud to be authentic.

he is the leading Christian source on the resurrection of Jesus, and is the personal mentor and best friend of our senior Pastor, as He net our pastor when he would car pool with him to at the time Tyndale College, and still gret friends decades later

I was at Liberty (pastoral counseling program) in the 70's, before his time. Guess living in Wyoming 4 decades separated me from there, running in different circles. Have two grandchildren at Liberty University this fall.
