Here in beautiful Arkansas, we are down to $1.19 and dropping.

Price War on the north side of town. If you don't mind waiting in line you can fill up for .949/gal its atleast 1.299 everywhere but theses two stations. Wonder what they will do tomarrow.

It is now back up to $1.35 here in beautiful Arkansas.

Its "down" to $1.75 again. It did get up to $1.89 a week or so ago.

 

It is 1.36 here now.

 

Media Reports that gas prices will be 5.00 a gal. by tomarrow morning. This is pure and simple robbery. There maybe a short term gasoline shortage due to todays events, but OPEC has already said that they will increase production.

I hope these reports are wrong but I filled up anyway at 1.65 no sense taking chances.

 

This AM, it has been reported by local news crews that some gasoline prices in the state are as high as $4 a gal.! The Governor has called this nothing but price gouging and "un-America." He has sent out authorities to nip this in the bud and assure us that there is enough gasoline and crude oil. Price gougers will be dealt with harshly for taking advantage of the situation.

How are the gas prices in your area, in the aftermath of the attack on America?

 

$1.60 here, up by .20 , reports on the local news that it is $3. and $4. a gallon in some places in Ky.
I also filled up last night, affraid I wouldn't be able to afford it today.

 

I went out last evening and filled up my van aftering hearing reports that gas prices could go as high as $6.00 a gallon. I just did not want to take chances . . . was able to fill up at about $1.32 a gallon, which was an increase already to what it had been recently. Haven't been out today to see if there has been any more increase.

 

I don't know if it is just for Pa or not but there was a freeze put on the gas prices so they will not be able to jack it up any furthur and if they do they're in trouble.

Now this will stop people from complaining about the exorbitant gasoline prices!

 

The fluctuating gas prices are a fraud, just prior to labor day our gas prices rose to 1.9o a gal. When I was in Los Angeles prices ranged from 1.49 to 1.73.

Now here at home but now, after labor day holiday the pric has dropped to 1.39. They must build refinerys fast

You folks south of the border should count your blessings. Having just moved to Canada from florida where we spent the last 12 years, gasoline here is expensive - currently 63 cents (CDN) per liter which is equal to 2.38/per CDN ($1.54 US/ gallon) This is cheaper than it has been for some time up here.

My tank is 25 gallons (94 liters) so it costs me $59.22 (Cdn) to fill the tank from empty.

You would pay $26.50 US for the same amount of gasoline at $1.06/gal US.

$59.22 Cdn = $38.20 US. (If you bring $1000 US to Canada today, the banks will give you $1550 CDN but if you try to sell that $1550 CDN back to the same bank, they will give you only $968 US.

So, you pay approx $12 per tank less than we do up here. You are very fortunate indeed.

Everything is not that much more expensive here though. Some items, like bread, milk, soft drinks, cars, health insurance, etc, are considerably less

We both pay considerably less for gasoline than the rest of the world.

Nobody asked, but there it is anyway.

In my travels this week, I have seen it down to $1.19 in Tennessee.

 

Saw it at $1.03 today. I better fill up fast!

 

$1.19 today in PA also.
