    Ya'll get all the cool ads. All I ever get is stuff like Liberty University. Of course there was that really irritating dating service ad that counted the e'mails one had waiting for them at the site and always stopped on the number 17. I'm glad that one is gone!

    ya'll know what ? I wish I had never started this thread.
    Now I know something I don't wan' know.
    I was at somebody else's computer when I saw that ad, and given what tiny tim said about this possibly being a tracking cookie, and how we all don't seem to be getting the same "funny links", I now have an idea where my friend goes on the net ..... (or maybe his kids ?)

    oh, this is embarrassing. :eek: :eek:

    I for one know that I'm the only one on my computer and I only go to Christian sites and a NOAA weather site, so explain that.

    You're also on the Baptist Board... where others start threads such as this one. The titles have much to do with it.

    You may say you don't visit such sites, yet by posting in this one, you have visited a site that promotes those banners.

    That is why you might see them.
