Medical officials just announced that Betsy Hackman died first - of unusual, but natural causes. Gene died approximately six days later with his pace-maker last showing activity on 2/18/25.

That makes sense to me. She dies and with his Alzheimer's did not know what to do and died six days later. So sad.

Thanks for the update. I am glad all the speculation can now be put aside.

It was very sad and surprising no one checked on them for over a week.

I agree that it's a shame and a mystery. But there are countless and untold people across the world who have no one.
